If you put on the iron boots under a magnetism field, right when you fly up to the ceiling press the "-" button to go into your inventory. Make sure you press it before you land on the ceiling, then equip a different item to the spot where you had your boots equipped so that your boots are not equipped on any of the 4 selection spots. go out of your inventory and your boots will be off yet you'll still be able to walk on the ceiling, however you won't have to trudge around since you don't have the weight of your boots. This is really helpful for getting across long stretches of magnetized ceilings faster.
